Sherry Chance-Parrish

Sherry Chance-Parrish has worked in the legal field for approximately 20 years.  Prior to her legal career, Sherry worked for Libbey-Owens-Ford for eleven years.

She graduated from Grayson County College in 1995 with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Paralegal studies and was an active member and officer of Phi Theta Kappa for two years.  In 1996, she earned her Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) designation through the National Association of Legal Assistants.

She began her career in Intellectual Property Law, working for Jenkens & Gilchrist in Dallas for two years, then moved on to work for Nortel Networks in Richardson for nearly nine years.  While at Nortel, Sherry managed the Intellectual Property Law department's paralegal and support staff across three U.S. sites – Richardson, Boston & Raleigh, North Carolina – and worked closely with the Ottawa and Toronto offices to maintain consistent office practices and policies across international sites as Nortel began winding down, eventually closing most of its US offices around 2008.  After her time with Nortel, Sherry took a year off to enjoy a respite away from her career field and dabble in other fields.

In 2008, Sherry accepted a position with Todd Estes as his Legal Assistant. Although she thoroughly enjoyed the work, she returned to the Metroplex to work in 2010 for a stint with Plano Fire Rescue. She has been back with the Law Office of M. Todd Estes since January 2015 where she serves as Office Manager and Legal Assistant. Clients appreciate her calm, kind demeanor as well as her fine attention to detail.

Sherry lives in Sherman with her husband Eric.  They have a grown son who recently married and lives with his new wife near Oklahoma City.
